RUBBER-METAL BOND

A widely used combination where rigidity is required when placing the product in its intended location, and elasticity in holding or damping stresses.
The metal is prepared for the optimal set up of the adhesion surface through specific steps.
Lastly, before moulding, a bonding agent is sprayed onto the metal and after drying, the rubber is vulcanised together with the metal insert.
Most of these solutions and/or products are manufactured with the following characteristics:

  • Range of elastomers: NR, SBR, NBR, HNBR, EPDM, CR, Silicone VMQ and others.
  • Rubber materials available: from 30 to 90 Shore A

Fields of application:

  • Household appliance industry
  • Automotive industry
  • Pneumatic valve industry
  • Water management industry (pumps)
  • Railway industry
  • Construction industry
